Summary
'The Last Coins' set was issued in 2004 pending the introduction of the European Union currency, the Euro. The Euro was introduced in Cyprus on 1 January 2008. The set includes: 1, 2 ,5,10, 20 and 50 Cypriot pound coins issued 1998-2003.
Physical Description
Set is stored in a plastic page insert. Within the set there is a card which records the national flag and basic national information on the front. However, the coins show the reverse side. On the back, the card shows a map of Europe, with the country highlighted, and the coat of arms. The coins show the obverse side. The coin set is stored in an album containing the other 2004 'Last Coins' sets.
