Black & white aerial photograph of the Exhibition Building from north east, taken in 1973. The photograph shows the Exhibition Building, new eastern and western annexes and car parking as well as most of the Carlton Gardens.

This is one of 959 photographs (or images) of the Exhibition Building collated by the Exhibition Trustees as a 10 volume pictorial history of the Exhibition Building spanning the years 1880 to 1985. The pictorial history was instigated by the centenary of the Exhibition Building in 1980 and forms part of a larger Royal Exhibition Building collection of documents, photographs, objects and research files.

An aerial view of the Exhibition Building taken from north west showing the Great Hall, annexes, the eastern forecourt and car parking. At the top of the picture there is the southern part of the Carlton Gardens & Rathdowne Street and at the bottom is Nicholson Street, buildings and the northern section of the Carlton Gardens.
