This rare promotional booklet from the early 20th century provides an insight into tourism on and around Port Phillip Bay during the era of the famous bay paddlesteamers. The cover features a colour illustration of the excursion vessels PS Weeroona, PS Hygeia and PS Ozone - all 3 vessels which the Museum holds models of. The contents include further illustrations of the paddlesteamers, shipping in Corio Bay, descriptions and illustrations of local industries such as the Geelong woollen mills, foundries and meat freezing works and popular tourist and recreational spots around Port Phillip Bay.
