Book containing balance sheets for Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd branches around Australia, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Townsville, Rockhampton, Perth, Hobart, Toowoomba and Launceston for the year ending 30 September 1937. It details overall profit and loss, purchases, liabilities, assets, stock on hand, deductions, cost of goods, cost of selling, sales totals, interest and yearly balance comparisons.
It is one of a series of 63 booklets containing balance sheets for various Kodak branches in Australia and New Zealand.
This series is part of the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
Physical Description
Balance sheets with printed and typed black and red text. Sheets are bound with black binding tape and grey cardboard cover.
