What appears to be a parade of servicemen in the background. To the right of the parade there is a group of men on horseback. In the middle of the photograph there are at least six people on a platform with a flag that appears to have a union jack. The people on the platform are doffing their hats. In the foreground are more servicemen, a man in civilian clothing and two women, all facing away from the camera.
