Group of men and children, mostly dressed in native Egyptian dress and one figure in a suit, dominate the photograph. The children are kneeling down, with hands outstretched in front of a man in uniform (who appears to be the focal point of the group) and two others in similar dress to the group. Behind the man in uniform and to the right is another man in native dress holding a large stick. In the background are some palm trees.
