Image of a street scene. There are buildings in the background and the photographer appears to be separated from them by a main road. Along the road there are at least two vehicles parked in front of the buildings and a horse drawn carriage. Another carriage or cart is disappearing out of frame to the right of the photograph. There are some figures on both sides of the road, some of whom appear to be preparing to cross the road.
