Physical Description

Cream-coloured envelope. On left-hand side of envelope printed logo OFFICIAL FIRST DAY COVER, and MEN, MUNITIONS, MATERIAL printed over red map of Australia and AUSTRALIA'S WAR EFFORT 15th JULY, 1940, one and two pence stamps, the stamps show a sailor, soldier and airman standing to attention, with a nurse above, in the background. Postmarked Clermont, Queensland, 17 Jul 1940
