Cream-coloured envelope. On left-hand side of envelope illustration of King George VI underneath Crown and between Australian flag and Union flag. Beneath that, FIRST DAY OF ISSUE, WEDNESDAY, 12th APRIL, 1950. Introducing a New Design for the 2 1/2 Stamp. Two 2 1/2 d stamps depicting George VI, postmarked G.P.O., 110, SYDNEY, N.S.W., AUST. 12 AP 50.
