The poster was published by the Parliamentary Recruiting Committee in London, and was designed by Sir Baden-Powell, who founded the Boy Scout movement after his return from service in the Boer War. It was printed by Johnson, Riddle & Co., London.

Poster has been adhered onto foam-core.
