Summary
Coin crate used in Operation Fastbuck to transport 1,000 rolls of the 1966 one cent coins Australia-wide in 1965, at the introduction of decimal currency. Operation Fastbuck saw Australia's new decimal currency delivered to banks across the nation in small armed convoys in the months prior to 'C-Day' on St Valentine's Day 1966.

Raw timber boards nailed together to form an open rectangular crate. Text stamped in red ink on the inside in two places.
