Summary
Pattern for an 18 inch (46cm) tall soft toy koala, in original envelope.
In 1943 the Hobart Mercury advertised a paper pattern for an '18 in. koala bear', for one shilling each, at Fitzgerald's 'coupon-free gift bar' (referencing war-time rationing). Other items on sale included 'Fascinating Winna' word-building games (1943 'Advertising', 25 November, p. 14).
Physical Description
Paper envelope containing a pattern to make a koala. Colourful image of a young girl holding a koala featured on the front of the envelope.
