Summary
Electronic valve (beam tetrode) manufactured for Mullard and stored or packaged in Amalgamated Wireless Valve Co. Pty. Ltd. (AWV) packaging. Used as a spare part for the MUDPAC analogue computer. This valve most probably would have been used as a series regulator in a power supply.
It is likely that the valve was removed from MUDPAC and placed in the box that its replacement came in.
Physical Description
Tubular glass bulb with dome top on an octal base (6 pins present). Illegible text scratched into side of the base. Cardboard box with blue and red glossy background; red, white and blue printed text.
