Description of Content
A Portrait of Pilot Officer Eric Douglas. Eric has a beard so the Voyage is underway. He is dressed in typical Antarctic attire at the time which was nothing too special - a dark woollen jumper and a dark woollen beanie. This photograph was taken in November or December, 1929 on the British Australian New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE), Voyage 1.
