Description of Content
Negative made from a copy of two photographs. The top photograph shows two of the crew from the Discovery II are 'poling off' standing on ice near the bow of the ship. Other crew members are assisting from the ship's deck above. The bottom photograph is of Lincoln Ellsworth's expedition ship the Wyatt Earp in sea ice. In the background is the Discovery II. Photographs taken during the Ellsworth Relief Expedition, 1935-1936.
