Description of Content
Negative made from a copy of two photographs. The top photograph is of the RAAF Wapiti A5-37 being loaded onto the RRS Discovery II at Williamstown, Victoria in December, 1935. Flight Lieutenant Eric Douglas is in the cockpit. The bottom photograph shows search party from Discovery II. Lincoln Ellsworth is pictured in the middle. Photographs taken during the Ellsworth Relief Expedition, 1935-1936.
