Crozet Group, with Gentoo Penguins and Sea Elephants basking on the shore. Eric Douglas captioned the image 'Sea Elephants and Gentoo Penguins, Crozet Islands'. Crozet Islands by Eric Douglas 'Twelve of us went ashore in the motor boat, anchored same about 100 yards offshore then did short trips in the dinghy we towed, bit of a surf running and a few of us got water down our sea boots'. Photograph taken during the British Australian New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE), Voyage 1.
