Summary
Gwen Gumurdul's coiled basket is completed with one colour of yellow dyed pandanus. It is made in the saucepan style of coiled basket. The two coiled pandanus handles are attached in the middle basket on opposite sides. The saucepan basket is not only about technical perfection of forms but about an eloquent sense of colour. The stiches are placed tight and close together intensifying the colour saturation.
