Summary
This type of body wear was particularly worn by young women in the northeastern region of the Northern Territory including eastern Arnhem Land. The bound section was worn at the back and the two hanks of string crossed over the shoulders and sat across the chest.

A multistrand ornament made of lengths of vegetable fibre string overwound in the centre with the same string.
