Summary
A typewritten manuscript which includes a typewritten copy of a letter from H.V. McKay to Senator George Pearce, Minister of Defence, regarding what is required for Australia to be able to rapidly produce munitions for the World War I. Undated but attributed to circa 1915 as the letter makes reference to the Dardenelles being forced.

The Australian operations of this company were originally founded by Hugh V. McKay in the 1890s. The McKay collection is regarded as one of the most significant industrial heritage collections in Australia.
