Summary
This figure is probably a 'lagi" because it is too big for a food hook. "Lagi" were personifications of the ginger planted by each clan's ancestor, and were generally carved as brother and sister. The figures were generally half life size. This figure is a male and displays zigzag scarification patterns on his shoulders and thighs.
Physical Description
Over 1 metre tall this figure represents a male standing on top of a large hook shaped base.
