Scrapbook that was compiled by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd. It contains approximately 190 archival items produced 1969-1972.

The contents of the scrapbook include promotional leaflets and advertising proofs for Kodak products. The products and subjects include audio cassettes, cameras, film, slides, prints, moving footage products and equipment along with camera accessories and bags. The leaflets relate to Christmas and other special promotions and campaigns, mostly surrounding the notion of nostalgia and capturing memorable family moments. For example, 'Don't let your life pass you by. Keep your Kodak Instamic Camera ready, loaded with Kodacolor Film, to capture the little things just as they happened - in lifelike color. Remember!' Other campaigns refer to Kodak gift ideas and travel diaries containing Kodak photos, and customer testimonials in regards to the memory captured. For example, ' March 25, London. Today our game of 'Monopoly' really came to life - went to Pall Mall, Piccadilly and Park Lane, A friendly Aussie took our picture at Trafalgar Square.'

The leaflets also refer to specialist products, for example: Kodak Instamatic camera, Kodak 'duo' print, Kodak camera accessories, Kodak Instamatic 'X' color cameras, Kodak Instamatic M22 movie outift, Kodachrome film, Kodak compact cassettes, Kodak pocket instamatic camera, Kodacolor Silk prints, Kodachrome films & slides, Kodak Ektasound movie cameras - Super8 color camera.

Advertising proofs relate to the following publications: Australian Financial Review, Australian, Federal Guild Contact, Journal of Pharmacy, Melbourne Age, National Press, People, Photo Trade News, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Women's Weekly, The Bulletin, Women's Day.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
