Scrapbook that was compiled by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd. It contains approximately 36 archival items produced in between 1969-70.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Physical Description

Large purple carboard rectangular scrapbook with 94 green paper pages containing magazine and press advertisements. Scrapbook is blank from page 43-89. Most leaflets are adhered with sticky tape which is in a fragile and brittle condition, and leaflets from pages 38-43 are loose within the scrapbook. The archival items range in size from 375mm x 276mm to 86mm x 134mm and the most common size is the magazine full page size, 285mm x 210mm. There are some markings indicating removed leaflets from the scrapbook, They are located on the front cover and in the middle of the scrapbook (pages 34-43).
