Summary

This is a woman's dilly bag used for carrying bush foods. The stripes are said to reflect Wik people's connections to story of the Death Adder, who taught them to make these. The stripes are said to be similar to the markings on a Death Adder, the red bands being string made from banyan fibre, and the lighter bands are string made from cabbage tree fibre.
