Summary
One of fourteen 120mm colour tranparencies in four strips depicting the construction of Scienceworks. The transparency strips were originally a single roll. Part numbers for individual images have been added according to the sequence of images in the roll.
The transparencies are part of a collection of images relating to Scienceworks. Images depict exterior views of the building, exhibitions, events and staff, mostly shot by staff photographers.
Description of Content
Exterior view of the Scienceworks building under construction. This is the offfice block known as 'the drum'. This part of the building was supposed to be inspired by the large bulk oil storage tanks on sites surrounding Scienceworks.
