Summary
Pair of child's beige cotton lisle (twisted-strand cotton) gloves. The gloves were worn by the donors, Misses M. & B. Johns, when they were children living in Kew, Melbourne, around 1914-1915. Washable gloves such as these became popular towards the end of World War I.

Children's beige cotton lisle gloves. Gloves have stitched welts on the back of the hand and six metal-edged eyes.
