Summary

Scorecard containing the Massey-Ferguson Golf Club tournaments held at various golf courses in Curlewis, Gisborne, Kyneton, Anglesea, Queenscliff and Portarlington between March and November 1976.

This syllabus came within a collection of eight similar documents dating from 1975 to 1984. These items were donated by Ken Porter, a former employee at Massey-Ferguson. The Massey-Ferguson Golf Club was formed by employees in 1936 when it was known as the Sunshine Harvester Works Golf Club. The club boasted 80 members by March 1949 and held golf championships throughout Melbourne. The club continues to hold monthly tournaments throughout Melbourne's outer western suburbs and regional Victoria. It is believed to be the largest golf club formed within an industrial organisation.
