This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Physical Description

Large black scrapbook with square yellow label adhered to front cover. Contains 105 brown paper pages with gloss and matte paper advertising clippings and promotional material attached. The promotional materials range in size from 145 mm (W) x 227 mm (H) to 190 mm (W) x 248 mm (H). A typed index on the first page describes the contents, with page numbers written in pen. Each page is numbered in the top right hand corner in pencil. The clippings are adhered to paper pages with sticky tape and sometimes glue. A number of proofs have come loose inside the scrapbook. Some pages throughout are blank, where a themed section has not been filled.
