Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Physical Description

Large black hardcover scrapbook with slightly torn square yellow label adhered to front cover. Scrapbook contains 103 brown paper pages with gloss and matte paper advertising clippings and promotional material attached. A typed index on the first page describes the contents. Each page is numbered in the top right hand corner in blue or red ink, or pencil. Clippings are adhered to paper pages with sticky tape and sometimes glue. A number of proofs have come loose inside the scrapbook. The promotional materials range in size from 150 mm (W) x 193 mm (H) to 265 mm (W) x 344 mm (H).
