Scrapbook compiled by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd. It contains approximately 92 archival items produced between 1969 and 1972.

The third in a series of four (4) books of advertising proofs and clippings for Kodak amateur photographic products. The products and subjects include cameras, photographic accessories, film, cassette tape and particularly the Instamatic camera. Some of the advertising proofs also refer to the Chairman's Address for the Annual General Meeting held at Coburg in the years 1968 and 1969.

Advertising slogans include 'your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Remember the Papal visit on Kodak film' and 'Travel with the ideal companion; Kodak Instamatic Cameras go anywhere and remember everything.' At the top of each proof is the handwritten annotation 'Australian Products.' Advertising material has been prepared by Kodak (Australasia) Pty Ltd or Berry Currie Advertising (Vic.) Pty Ltd.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Physical Description

Large blue scrapbook with off-white canvas binding along the spine, contains 94 paper pages including front and back cover. The proofs are mostly black and white, with a few colour copies, on gloss and matte paper and are adhered to thick green paper pages with sticky tape. A number of proofs have come loose inside the scrapbook, as are the loose pieces of tape. Some advertising proofs have notes hand-written in pencil, annotated with the comment 'Australian Products' at the top of each proof, The promotional materials range in size from 138 mm (W) x 198 mm (H) x 253 mm (W) x 380 mm (H).
