Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Large paper scrapbook with 99 brown paper pages, plus brown paper front and back cover, bound with cardboard and five metal staples along the spine. The book contains paper-based advertising clippings. Clippings are printed in black and white and colour on both gloss and matte paper. All clippings are attached with sticky tape. In some cases the tape has aged and discoloured so a number of clippings are loose inside the scrapbook. The promotional materials range in size from 115mm (W) x 236mm (H) to 225mm(W) x 310mm (H).
