The scrapbook contains a wide range of promotional pamphlets and clippings, from products and services to events and instructional manuals. Some are printed in black and white, others in colour. Sizes vary from small pocket sized pamphlets to larger booklets almost A4 in size. Inside the scrapbook a two page index has been inserted listing each of the clippings and pamphlets inside.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Physical Description

Large paper scrapbook with 91 brown paper pages and brown paper front and back covers bound with white cardboard and white cotton string. Contains black and white and colour advertising clippings, brochures, invitations and promotional material on both gloss and matte paper. A two-page typed index is inserted in the first page. Each page is numbered in the top outer corner in blue pencil from pages 1 - 91.The clippings are adhered with glue. The promotional materials range in size from 81mm (W) x 137mm (H) to 215mm (W) x 279mm(H).
