A envelope with a label from the 1925 International Motor Show. The show was held at the Melbourne Exhibition Buildings from 30 April - 9 May. The International Motor Show of 1925 was organised by the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) in conjunction with the Chamber of Automotive Industries. The envelope is postmarked 24 April 1925. The 1925 motor show was the first international show held in Australia and had all the fanfare that accompanies such an occasion. The Sun News Pictorial reported 'never before in the history of Australia has such a glittering array of cars been assembled - never before have they been so mechanically perfect'.
