Summary
An Entrée Card inviting the bearer to the Swearing-in Ceremony of His Excellency The Right Honourable Thomas, Baron Brassey, as Governor of Victoria. The ceremony was held in the Exhibition Building in 1895. The entrée card provides entry instructions and a complete programme of events.
Physical Description
Folded pink card trimmed with gold edges in the form of a booklet. The front and back cover are decorated with a floral pattern in blue ink. In darker pink there is printed in the centre of the front cover the letter 'G' and on the back cover in the centre is the British coat of arms, also in a darker pink. Inside, the first page is headed with the British coat of arms and the details of the event, on the second page is the programme which details the ceremony's proceedings including musical performances.
