Booklet printed and published by E. Whitehead & Co to commemorate the Inauguration of the Commonwealth of Australia, on 1 January 1901. As well as portraits of Queen Victoria, the Governor-General Lord Hopetoun, and members of the first federal ministry, the booklet contains photographs of celebratory events held in Sydney at the time of the inauguration.

Booklet format with 22 pages. Front cover in gold, red, blue and black ink, with the United Kingdom coat-of-arms flanked on either side by the Union Jack and Australian flag.
