Summary
University of Melbourne School Intermediate and School Leaving Examinations timetable, December 1953. This timetable was issued to JM Lancaster, and informed him that his exams were to be held at the Exhibition Buildings in Fitzroy. Subjects under examination included biology, British Empire history, chemistry, commercial principles, domestic science, economics, English literature, general science, geography, mathematics, music and physics. Many languages (eg French, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Latin and Russian) were examined with both reading and dictation tests.
