Summary
Brochure produced by Satterley Property Group circa 2010 for the local residents in Coburg adjacent to the former Kodak Australasia factory site. The front page is headed 'Former Kodak Site Re-Development. Introducing to residents, the new owners, Satterley Property Group' and the brochure outlines the plans for the site and some key staff members at Satterley.
The donor, Yvonne Cameron not only worked in the canteen and staff shop at Coburg from 1964 to 1975, she was an active member of the Kodak Camera Club. She lived in a street behind the factory and watched as the factory was constructed in the late 1950s, saw through its various phases of development and then she witnessed its final closure and demolition from 2004 - 2011. She received this brochure in the mail.
This document was donated as part of the Kodak Oral History Project. It complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
