Summary

Hand-drawn cartoon of the Kodak Camera Club, used as a poster or flyer to remind members about the Kodak Camera Club 'Speed and Action' competition, 1966.

It features a cartoon style drawing of a helicopter over a lake. The helicopter has 5 people on it - Arthur Renwick, Gary Punch, Bob Spencer, Mike, and Yvonne Welch (later Cameron). Yvonne not only worked in the canteen and staff shop at Coburg from 1964 to 1975, she was also an active member of the Kodak Camera Club. Like Yvonne, many Kodak employees were passionate photographers and the company actively encouraged them in their hobby through their own photographic competitions.

This document was donated as part of the Kodak Oral History Project. It complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
