Printed letter from Chairman & Managing Director of Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd, Mr Ed Woods, to all Kodak employees. Sent on 19 December 1991, it includes a general yearly round-up of news and was sent as a thank you at the end of the year/Christmas. There is also reference to what was formerly called a yearly bonus. The SDRP payment (or Employee Refund) is a new term used for the regular Kodak Christmas Bonus.

This copy was sent to Brian Phillipson who worked with Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd for 36 years from 1955 to 1990. Brian worked in paper coating at Abbotsford, then Stores, after which he spent 22 years developing safe lighting technology for use in the darkened environment required for photographic product manufacture and finishing at the Coburg factory.

This document was donated as part of the Kodak Oral History Project. It complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
