Physical Description

Polymer banknote. The obverse is predominantly yellow and green, and depicts a scene of European settlement at Sydney Cove, with HMS Supply in the foreground. In the background are a number of people representing a range of people from different backgrounds and occupations. A Diffractive Variable Device (DOVD) depicts Captain James Cook. The denomination in numerals appears twice, and in words to the left of the ship. The date is in blue in upper right, to the left of the numeral. Signatures are at upper left of centre. The reverse is predominantly orange, ochre, grey and white. It depicts an unnamed First Nations youth, a Morning Star Pole, and artworks commissioned by the Reserve Bank. AUSTRALIA printed at left and the denomination in numerals is next to it. Serial number in top left and lower right corners.
