Summary
A silver 25 year Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd long service lapel pin in original velvet box. This was awarded to Marie de Camara (nee McKinley) upon her 25 year service anniversary.
Marie worked for Kodak for 35 years in total, commencing at Abbotsford, moving to Burnley and then finishing up at Coburg. She spent the majority of her working life at Burnley in the Powder and Solutions Department.
This object complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Physical Description
Circular silver medallion with cameo portrait of George Eastman plus decorative garlands and text. The medallion is suspended from a horizontal, rectangular silver pin. The pin was stored inside a lined, dark red velvet 'Focus' brand jewellery box.
