Summary
A gold Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd lapel pin attached to original Kodak branded velvet jewellery bag. This was awarded to Marie de Camara (nee McKinley) upon her 25 year service anniversary. The pin features a kangaroo behind a boomerang that reads 'KODAK AUSTRALIA'.
Marie worked for Kodak for 35 years in total, commencing at Abbotsford, moving to Burnley and then finishing up at Coburg. She spent the majority of her working life at Burnley in the Powder and Solutions Department.
This object complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Physical Description
Hold lapel pin with butterfly clutch. Pin features a kangaroo with boomerang beneath in. Engraved and coloured red, the pin reads: KODAK AUSTRALIA.
