Summary
Letter from George Eastman, Director of Eastman Kodak Company to J Defendorf of Kodak Park, Rochester, dated 15 September 1910. Eastman instructs Defendorf to go to Australia and assist Thomas Baker in the Kodak Australasia emulsion department for a period to be determined by Baker. Defendorf's salary was to be thirty American dollars per week. It is likely this is a copy sent to Thomas Baker of Australian Kodak Limited for his records.
This is one of 29 letters in an incomplete series of communications between Eastman and Baker.
This object is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
