Summary

Box for Kodak Verichrome Film for use with the No. 5 Cirkut panoramic camera. However, there is also a sticker on this box for Eastman Non Curling Film Cartridge for Westinghouse Outfits, with Kodak Australasia Pty Limited's company name on it, indicating this was made circa 1920s. There is no product inside to indicate what this box originally held, and indeed if the two labels refer to the same product. However, it represents a very different style of packaging from other Kodak products, particularly in colour scheme and font.

This product is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
