Summary

Opened packet of Wellington Slow Contact Paper (S.C.P), 24 glossy sheets for gaslight, 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches, manufactured by Wellington & Ward, circa 1920s.

It is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Physical Description

Rectangular brown paper envelope with black and red printed text, torn open at one end revealing a grey envelope with photographic papers inside and two instruction booklets. Kodak Museum sticker on back of envelope.
