Summary
Opened packet of Kodak 'Self=Toning Solio' photographic paper, 15 glossy sheets, 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches, manufactured by Kodak Limited, London, circa 1900s. This is special edtion Grand Prix Paris 1900 packaging, but stamped on the back '1910'.
It is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
Physical Description
Rectangular brown paper envelope with maroon and white sticker labels. Inside is a secondary paper envlope with photographic papers enclosed.
