Summary

Opened packet of Ilford Standard Selo Gaslight Paper, 14 normal glossy single weight sheets, 5 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches, manufactured by Ilford Limited, London, circa 1930s. Product code 431 AGH. Instructions and an empty black envelope inside.

It is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Physical Description

Rectangular brown paper envelope with coloured sticker labels, torn along right edge. Inside is a black paper envelope and instruction manual on back. Kodak Museum sticker adhered to back.
