George's department store card, issued in the 1970s. Georges was an up-market Melbourne department store which operated for more than a century. Its flagship store was at the top end of fashionable Collins Street.
Physical Description
George's store card, rectangular with rounded corners, printed in maroon, black and gold on white. Front has maroon background and features name of store in large font, user name in raised lettering and card number. Back has white background, panel for user's signature covered with 'JENKIN SECURITY' tape (not signed) and list of actions if it is lost or stolen, and panel for user's signature (blank).
