Summary

Un-used, flat pack box for Kodak Gold Bright Sun & Flash film pack printed in English and Thai script. The box has a hanging tab for display and was designed to hold 2 x Kodak Gold 200 film cartridges (36 exposures, 35mm color print film, 200 speed), totalling 72 exposures per pack.

This is one of 10 boxes in a bundle, manufactured by Carter Holt Harvey packaging for Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd, who would then package the finished film in the Coburg factory.

These boxes, manufactured circa 2002 - 2005, are excess, un-used stock items from the end of manufacturing at Kodak Australasia.These products are part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Physical Description

Colour cardboard boxes printed in a yellow, red, and pink colour scheme. There is an unfolded hanging tab on the top with a photograph on the front of a young girl hugging a teddy bear toy and an illustrated chart on the reverse showing the functionality of different Kodak film types. There are four tabs on the side, printed with product details and barcode. On the centre, front panel there is a three-dimensional illustration of two film cartridges. On the centre, reverse panel there is a curved perforation for opening.
