Summary

Document with annotations and Press Release memo attached, describing the Trust Fund from the funds left by Thomas and Alice Baker and Eleanor Shaw after their deaths, and the relationship with the Baker Medical Institute. This is a draft copy of historical information sent on 11 July 1974 to Kodak executives John Habersberger and John Chester, for return to Kodak employee Peter Hunter. Peter then was to forward on the approved text to an author in Sydney, Max Wilson, for an article he was writing titled 'Photographic Retailing in Australia - From Baker & Rouse to Bankcard'.

This document is part of the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
